| History |
| The U.S. Postal Service classifies bulk mail as "Standard Mail" and offers it at either the regular or the much lower nonprofit rate. Both are less than First-Class rates. The mail piece and the mailing as a whole must meet Postal Service specifications to qualify for bulk rates. We provide permit numbers, services, and advice to help your mail meet the specifications.
|
| Please contact us when you are planning your mail piece - we can recommend sizes, shapes, and weights that will help your mailing qualify for a discount. Our guidelines on preparing bulk mailings will help, too. If your mailing is printed and ready to go, we can tell you whether it qualifies for a discount. If your are sending an address file to Bulk Mail, please send it via our file envoy, a simple web form with easy-to-follow instructions.
